Educating Rita

First produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and later made famous by the film starring Michael Caine and Julie Walters, this bittersweet comedy brings a middle-aged, disillusioned English literature professor together with Rita, an irreverent, Liverpudlian working class hair-dresser. 

A course in literature becomes an outrageously funny and very poignant story as Rita struggles to re-invent herself and Frank searches for a path back to life.
