There are certainly plenty of suspects - all with strong motives. For
example there's Paul Reston - Barbara's director. But once they were
more that "just good friends".
Or there's Connie Bell her secretary -
with much greater ambitions. The Great British Novel is somewhere inside
Don Lewis - but he's too tied up writing for Auntie Barbara. And let's
not forget make-up man Ray Lacey - camp as a row of tents and just as
determined to escape Barbara's clutches one way or another.
What about
Barnes?, the show's producer - desperately trying to keep everyone happy
and everything togethjer - somehow. Who is the mysterious Moore - is he
all he says he is?
And then there's Dave - can anyone really be sure
that Publicity sent him? Not to mention the ansaphone, the identical
dress, Mr Lee the printer... and who did order the tombstone? |
